Reiki is the embodiment of universal unconditional love.  A Japanese Buddhist Monk, Dr. Mikao Usui, Who experienced the universal healing force during a 21- days fasting and meditation period on Mt. Kurama , discovered Reiki in 19th century. Since then it has spread throughout the world, transforming the lives of millions of practitioners.

Reiki is a hands-on healing technique. It is a very simple yet powerful technique that can be easily learned by anyone. Reiki heals the body and emotions, bringing them into balance and promoting health, happiness, prosperity and long life. Reiki heals by calming the mind and relaxing the body thereby raising the life force of the recipient. Reiki heals the body and illumines the mind, it is both a wonderful healing energy .

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

The way in which Reiki healing technique is taught is different from the way other healing techniques are taught. The Reiki master transfers the healing technique to the student during the process of attunement. Reiki attunement is an extremely spiritual experience. Attunement energies are channeled into the student through the Reiki master.  Reiki is an intelligent energy that knows its path and purpose.
