How to redecorate a room without buying anything?

Hey everyone…
I really want to redecorate and change up my room but i have no money and no way of getting any more stuff. I need some ideas on how to change up my room though since i want my friends to be impressed when they see it… It is medium size with a wood desk, a full bed with a dark blue comforter, a wood dresser, white bookshelves, and white cubby thingys. It is kind of a blue green and purple theme. Please help!

You can put most things away & go for a sleek, uncluttered look; then rotate in & out a few of you favorite things in display. Do the cubes fit in the closet? More floor space is always a good look. Move things around. Everything does not need to be against the wall. The bed can be on a diagonal in a corner or even in the middle of the room. You desk can be at the foot of the bed or turned sideways next to the bed. You can line the back of the book case with pretty wrapping paper (very cheap) and spray it with acrylic or cover with clear sticky shelf paper. Then mix up what are on the shelves, alternate books & things. Put the books in stacks flat instead of lined up and top the stacks with a item you like. A fun way to very cheaply change looks is also to use (sticky) contact paper that you carefully use to cover things. You can also decoupage pictures onto your furniture if its OK with your parents. Ask you parents if they can blow up & frame a few of your favorite pictures and do a montage of pictures on the wall.
