Reiki for a torn ligament?

My beagle mix has a torn miniscus. The vet wants to have him go in for a second surgery. (last time he opened his leg up and just tightened it) he said he tore it after surgery. Does anyone know about any holistic alteritives? I’ve read about Reiki but i dont know if that would help. Any help would be nice!

Honestly, I don’t know a lot about it, and while I am open minded to alternative healing, a torn miniscus sounds like something I personally wouldn’t mess around with- I myself would follow your vet’s advice and do another surgery.
